How Drug Works
This medicine blocks a chemical in your body (histamine),
which causes allergy symptoms.
How Taken

This medicine is taken orally and may be taken on an
empty stomach or with food.

include drowsiness or dry mouth. If you experience other

Warnings/Precautions
This medicine will add to the effects of alcohol and
other depressants. Do NOT drive, operated machinery
or perform any hazardous activities until you know how
you react to the medicine.

For emergencies, seek medical attention immediately.

Drug Interactions
Cimetidine and fluvoxamine (Luvox) can increase the
effects and side effects of this medicine. Talk to your
doctor or pharmacist for more information.
Missed Dose
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it
is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and
go back to your regular schedule. Do not double dosages.
Storage
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly
closed, and out of reach of children. Throw away any
medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Store
it at room temperature and away from excess heat and
moisture (not in the bathroom).
Pregnancy/Nursing
Talk to your doctor or pediatrician before using this
medicine while nursing. Use during pregnancy should
only occur if the potential benefits outweigh the possible
risk to the fetus.
